Welcome to Grow Inc.!

It's a tycoon type game, where you’ll be growing expanding your business, primarily by building upwards.

But who said managing a company would be easy? (That might have been me - because we want you to have fun... and maybe a little chaos, but mostly FUN!)

Controls:

Options:Movement:Everything else:
QScroll, W (Up), S (Down)Mouse (Left button) or Hover over

Before you start:

Best plays in fullscreen. (Sorry for the bare bones menu and blured font)

If any of yours variables drop to zero, your PR points will decrease.

If your PR drops to zero - you lose.

For your first playthrough, it’s best to go in blind. But if you want to optimize your gameplay, here’s what you need to know:

!!!SPOILERS BELOW!!!

Here’s a list of all the variables you’ll need to manage and how they interact:

  • Happiness: Gained from the cafeteria and toilet. The higher it is, the more money you earn. It decreases over time and with the number of desks.
  • Cleanliness: Gained from storage and janitor room. The lower it is, the faster you lose your Safetiness score. It decreases over time and with the amount of kitchen equipment.
  • Safetiness: Gained from the security room and fire extinguisher room. The lower it is, the higher the chance of an employee disappearing into the shadow realm. It decreases over time and with low Cleanliness levels.
  • Tax rate: Increases with the number of floors. The lower it is, the more money you earn. It decreases due to the finance room and archives room.
  • Paranormal Activity: Increases over time due to number of ghosts. The higher it is, the more Happiness you lose. It decreases when you hover over the ghosts.
  • Public Relations (PR): Can't increase. It decreases when your other variables go to zero.

Other notable features:

  • Skeleton: Can be moved, the trashcan outside removes them over time.

This is a cool game! There is something left to be desired with the balancing of floor production, getting 3 cafaterias or any other room basically ensures that you will never drop below 90% in any category. (Edit: I typed this whole comment and didn't drop below 90%). Needing to move skeletons to the trash (and being able to store them in the fridge what!?) is a clever addition that spices things up, and gaining more employees and having a higher rate of income satisfies my dopamine.

Bugs I noticed: using the scroll wheel is a lot slower than button inputs, the cost of employees increases on the 2nd floor but returns to 50$ after that. The music stops looping after a few minutes. That's about it!

Sadly we didn't have time to balance some aspects, but thanks for the comment :)

Thanks for the feedback! Really appreciate it :), we noticed the problems too late, but hope you appreciate it as proof of concept that this game could be expanded and work if updated.
